European BEST Engineering Competition allows students from Technical University „Gheorghe Asachi” of Iași to prove their technical skills in front of company representatives. The competition will take place online, where your team will develop projects on the theme that will be revealed on the competition day. This competition for students will take place in 3 stages: local (right here in Iași), regional (in Iași) and final (where the best 120 students of Europe will get to Zagreb).

Sections

Team Design is searching for technical skills in a team of 4 students to develop a prototype. It has to be done within a time limit using a reduced number of resources and fulfill certain conditions of creativity, resistance, stability and mobility.

Case Study looks for student`s problem solving, planning and organising skills for solving a real issue of today’s society, developing a theoretical solution. You will work together in teams of 4 students and the best solution will be the one that needs the least time, resources and can also be applied in daily life. This section will consist of a project that you will have to be presented in front of a jury.

Show & Tell is an activity within EBEC where students from TUIASI get the opportunity to present their projects to the different companies present at the event. The projects will be evaluated by a jury composed of TUIASI teachers, and the most skilled and appreciated project will be the winner. The event will take place online.
